If you have thick area rugs and carpets, the odds are that you will choose a motor-powered powerbrush. To utilize a motor-powered carpet beater, you will require a hose that provides 120 volts right on the hose handle to turn on the motor.

The Super Valve Dual Voltage Hose (or Direct Connect with built-in 120 volts and 24 volts)

This central vaccums hose has a unique hose-to-inlet converter with an extratwo springs for 120 volts connection built-in within the vacuum inlet valve. This hose is only flexible with Direct Connect or Super Valves fittings.
